A prayer, answered by a vision, founded on our cultural heritage to serve for the benefit of others has led to the birth of the Pasefika Lawyers Collective (PLC).
The Inaugural PLC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Conference, Samoa 26 to 28 July 2023.

A joint initiative by Pasefika legal professional network associations primarily in Australia, Samoa and New Zealand, calling our legal brethren from around the world that claim Pacific heritage or connection to share views and learnings on our cultural diversity and its impact on the practice of Law.
The PLC CPD Conference is proudly brought to you under the auspices of the Pasifika Lawyers Association Qld Inc (PLAQ) and the Pacific Legal Association NSW Inc (PLAN) in partnership with the Samoa Law Society, and with the support of the Pacific Lawyers Association NZ (PLA).

Pasfika Lawyers Association Qld Inc's (PLAQ) enlisted one of its youngest supporters to help showcase our beautiful island of Samoa. 10 years old Shyla'ree of Logan, Queensland, Australia already knows that she wants to become a judge. In her passion to pursue her goal, Shyla'ree wanted to support PLC with sharing footage of her recent trip to Samoa in December 2022. Shyala'ree also wrote and recorded the script for our video all by herself! Faafetai lava Shyla'ree!
